The key points of our strategy include:
- Maintaining a modern vehicle fleet and carefully allocating task/trips to ensure that economy of usage is achieved.
- Minimising waste and recycling all packaging whenever possible.
- In the use of herbicides, sourcing and using products that have the least effect on the environment. We have highly trained operators with the appropriate certification who know how to act in the case of spillage or any other unpredicted accident.
- Meeting all the environmental requirements of Local Government By Laws and National Legislation such as the current Resource Management Act.
- Whilst carrying our native planting revegetation activities UpFront Environmental encourages community involvement wherever possible and is willing to promote education programmes.
